Switzerland, is official known as the Swiss Confederation, positioned in central Europe. The population is about 839,324 and the approximate area is 41,290 square kilometers, with four official languages: German, French, Italian, and Romansh.

Switzerland assigns its borders with German, Austria, Liechtenstein, France and Italy.

The country has moderate and mild climatic region. The cold winters start from January to February having temperature range -2 to 7 °C   and extremely hot summers start from June- August as well as spring and autumn having temperature range from 8- 15°C.

Christianity is the chief religion in the region and it belongs to Roman Catholic church. Other religions in the country are Islam, Judaism and Buddhism.

The Swiss has constitutional federal democratic system of government. The legislature has two chambers known as the National Council and the Council of States. The head of the state and government is the President.
