Sudan is the 3rd largest country in Africa. The current total population is about 46,843,606 and the total area of Sudan is about 1,886,068 square kilometers. The official dialect of Sudan is Arabic while English is broadly used for spoken. 

Sudan assigns its borders by Egypt, Libya, Chad the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Eritrea.

It has just two seasons known as the wet and dry. In summers having temperature up to 43°C as well as the winters temperatures are pleasantly warm during the day and cool at night, even cold at times with freezing temperature of 0 °C.

The official religion of the country is Islam. Majority of Sudanese population classify as Muslim belonging of Sunni group of Islam.

The Government of Sudan has constitutional parliamentary federal government formed by the constitution of Sudan. It has a bicameral National Legislature having two chambers the two chambers known as the National Assembly is considered to be the lower house of parliament and the Council of States known as the higher house of parliament. The president is considered to be the head of state, head of government, and commander-in-chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces in a de jure multi-party system.

Culture of Sudan

Sudan is well-known of its traditional music and art with respect to the Arabic dance and music in other parts of the country. It celebrates the Muslim holidays as Eid al-Aḍḥā known as the memory of scarifying Hazrat Ismail AS and after the performance of the hajj rites near Mecca) and Eid al- Fitr called as marking the end of Ramadan and Christian holidays like Christmas and Easter.

The famous sports that Sudanese are used to play known as “Maseera” this game is alike to Parcheesi or ludo where players transfer their pieces or around a board by rolling dice as well as other famous is considered to be “Wulla” is card game. Traditional games like stick fighting and wrestling are played by the Sudanese.

Agriculture of Sudan

Sudan has plants consist of grasses, thorny trees, and baobab trees. Acacia trees. It has wildlife like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as elephants, giraffes, rhinoceroses, and many varieties of antelope. Numerous species of monkeys reside in the forests. The native birds like bustards, guinea fowl and storks. Reptiles like crocodiles and various lizards. Insect life is abundant, and the tsetse fly reside in the Sudan.

The top crops include cotton, peanuts known as groundnuts, sesame, gum Arabic, sorghum, and sugarcane. The existing prime crops are sorghum and millet, with smaller amounts of wheat, corn, and barley.

Moreover, Natural resources include gold, uranium, chromite, gypsum, mica, marble, and iron ore.

Manufactured industries belong to Sudan is based by the processing of food and beverage products. Sugar refining is a chief activity, as are the production of vegetable oil and of soap, the ginning of cotton, and the production of cotton textiles. Numerous other industries like Oil refining and the production of shoes, chemical fertilizers are trying to boosting up the economy of the country.
