England assigns its borders with Wales and Scotland. It is part of the United Kingdom. England envelops 58 of the island of Great Britain as well as 100 small islands like Isles of Sicily and Isle of Wight.

England is a Constitutional monarchy, where Head of the state is considered to be the Queen or King. The council of the religious advisors have been extended into government known as Parliament. So the government in England is known as the Parliamentary Democracy.

England has two houses; the House of Commons consists of officials assigned by the people and the House of Lords, where the members are selected by the Queen or the King by the consent of independent group called as the House of Lords Appointments Commission.

The head of the government is called the Prime minister, who is the leader of the political party in responsibility of Parliament.

The common religion in United Kingdom is the Christians that connects to the Protestant churches. Other religion communities like Muslims, Hindus and Jews also are the resident of this country.

England (U.K) is well known all over the world for its literature and games. The games or sports like soccer, cricket, boxing, golf and rugby are all the creations of U.K. Famous writers like William Shakespeare known as “The Nature of Poet”, Charles Dickens, Jane Austen. The writer of the “Lord of Rings series” is the J.R.R. Tolkien and the writer of the “Harry Porter series” is the J.K. Rowling. These both writers belong from U.K.
