KAOS

People have said that Terminator Zero is a real return to form for one of the most famous movies of all time. It has intense action scenes, an interesting story, and great animation from the Japanese studio Production IG. Tim Olyphant (Justified) and André Holland (Moonlight) are two well-known voice actors who work on the show.

Five years after The Umbrella Academy, Netflix’s weird and wonderful show about the Hargreeves brothers, came out, we’ll be saying goodbye to them in what seems like the blink of an eye. This is the heartbreaking frustration at the heart of season 4.
We pick up with the siblings six years after the shocking end of season 3, where Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman) carried out Reginald’s (Colm Feore) plan to change reality in the Hotel Oblivion. They are all living different lives and don’t have any powers. A family event brings them back together, but not everyone is glad to see each other.
Soon, the siblings have to work together to… you got it… save the world from end-of-the-world as they find a dangerous secret society run by Gene and Jean Thibedeau, played by Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally, who are new to the show.

Cobra Kai
Cobra Kai, the show that made The Karate Kid famous to a whole new generation, just started its sixth and final season on Netflix. Parts two and three are still to come.
At the start of the story, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who is tired and whose life has been shaped by a humiliating loss in a karate competition as a teenager, decides to take charge of his life by opening up his old dojo, Cobra Kai.
That quickly gets the eye of Daniel LaRusso, a rival from high school who runs a successful business with his wife and child. Daniel starts teaching local kids the peaceful style that his late master Mr. Miyagi taught him in response to Johnny’s overly aggressive methods. This starts a fight between Daniel and Johnny that has been going on for decades and leads to a series of events that get more and more dangerous.
It comes from the same people who made Hot Tub Time Machine, so Cobra Kai never loses sight of the fact that its idea is a bit silly. However, it balances the comedy with some truly amazing action scenes and really compelling drama.
All of the high school love triangles and fights are things we’ve seen before, but a group of talented young actors usually makes the material more interesting.

The American gymnast won another gold title this week. She has had a rough couple of years and has been dealing with “the twisties.” This is a word for a condition that gymnasts have where they lose their sense of where they are and how to move their bodies while they are in the air.
Biles had to drop out of two Tokyo 2020 events because of the condition. It was hard for her, but she had to do it for her own safety. Simone Biles: Rising is a two-part documentary series that follows her road back to the top of international gymnastics as she slowly builds up the skills and confidence she needs to perform under such high pressure.
This book is for anyone who wants to learn more about Biles, gymnastics as a sport, or the extreme focus that Olympians have to have. – David Craig
Bridgerton
At first, Netflix wasn’t known for its period dramas. But that all changed during the lockdown Christmas of 2020, when everyone needed some cheer. On December 25, Santa Claus brought the most wonderful shows to the streaming service, just in time for us to watch them all at once with our Quality Street cans. Bridgerton is based on the popular books by Julia Quinn and is about eight brothers in Regency London who are looking for love.
Phoebe Dynevor’s character, Daphne, was the first to meet her match. She started a fake relationship with the hot Duke of Hastings, also known as rising star and possible Bond Regé-Jean Page. In season 2, the focus shifted to Anthony Bridgerton and his relationship with new character Kate Sharma.
Now, the show is about Penelope (Nicola Coughlan), a friend who falls in love with Bridgerton’s son Colin (Luke Newton). Their slow-burning romance isn’t as interesting at first as it was in previous seasons, but it’s still worth watching.
You should really watch to see how Penelope’s double life as Lady Whistledown plays out, especially since the unknown author of the pamphlet is currently bothering Colin. The show is fun and new, with great acting, fancy costumes, and a modern soundtrack. It’s a great break from regular life, and it’s a huge hit. – Morgan Cormack and Emma Bullimore
3 Body Problem
This show has been anticipated for a long time, ever since it was first revealed in 2020. It was made by the famous Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and DB Weiss, as well as True Blood’s Alexander Woo. The movie 3 Body Problem is based on the same-named sci-fi book by Liu Cixin. It’s about a young woman in China in the 1960s whose fateful choice has effects in the present day.

Claire Foy and Matt Smith set the tone with their beautiful performances as young Elizabeth and Philip, whose relationship had to deal with duty and the public eye. Vanessa Kirby, on the other hand, made everyone fall in love with a complicated Princess Margaret.
Olivia Colman and Helena Bonham Carter led the group into a new era of the monarchy as the years went by. Josh O’Connor and Emma Corrin played the problematic marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. In the last two seasons, Imelda Staunton played the lead role. Other actors, such as Dominic West, Elizabeth Debicki, and Jonathan Pryce, also played important roles.
More awards than the producers can remember, this show changed everything for Netflix. It brought the service respect, praise, and a whole new audience of people who were trying out streaming services for the first time just to watch The Crown.
